About Namhae
Namhae County is made up of several islands, including Namhaedo and Changseondo. Namhae Bridge, a red suspension bridge opened in 1973, crosses the Noryang Strait to link the island with Hadong.
Gacheon Daraengi Village, where rice paddies climb the slope toward the sea like steps, is designated a national Scenic Site. It's a landscape layered with the time of people who widened their paddies a handspan at a time on a small island.
Much of the coast belongs to Hallyeohaesang National Park, so the sea is close wherever you are on the island. When spring comes, the hillside fields and the banks between the paddies are the first to turn green.

Take a bus from Seoul, Busan, Jinju or elsewhere to Namhae Bus Terminal, then change to a local county bus.
